Naked Lime Builds Bikes For Texas Military Forces

A few weeks ago we wrote about Naked Lime adopting a platoon. We decided to keep the ball rolling, it is the holiday season after all, and continue our giving streak.

Last week, the Naked Lime team in Houston, built more than 100 bikes for children of Texas Military Forces, including the Air Force, Army, Army National Guard, Coast Guard, and Navy.

One of the soldiers, who has served two tours, spoke to the volunteers and shared what this type of event and support meant to him. “My little one understands our financial situation and realizes that this Christmas will be difficult. She wished only that we, as a family, love each other and continue to support one another. For my daughter to receive a bike, would be a blessing and a remembrance of a better and happier Christmas.”

The experience was a great reminder of what Christmas is truly about.

We are happy to give something back to those who give so much for our freedom. Thanks to all of our troops.

Happy Holidays!
