Naked Lime Pinterest Site Verification

Naked Lime has announced the inclusion of Pinterest Website Verification for your site. According to Pinterest website verification makes it “easier for users to find out more about who they’re following.” The feature allows you to highlight your own website URL in your profile, and ensure that your followers see your entire URL. In a statement made when the feature first launched, Pinterest stated, “When your website is verified, people will see a checkmark next to your domain in search results. They will also see the full website URL and checkmark on your profile.”

Currently Pinterest is only supporting top-level domains, such as .com, .biz and .info.

To utilize this new feature on your Naked Lime site follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the HTML Meta section in the SEO drop down, in the Naked Lime website editor.
  2. Press the link for New HTML Meta
  3. In the drop down on that page scroll down and select “p:domain_verify.” In the text field you will need to copy and paste the long alpha-numeric code that Pinterest supplies (to get this code follow the Pinterest Guidelines) Press “Save” and  you are done. It make take a few moments before you see any changes on the Pinterest site, but you should see them within a few hours.
